This theoretical and empirical study verifies the hypothesis that desire to control one’s own future is a significant behavioral factor. A controlled phenomenon at intersection of internality emotional response. The relationship between level response was analyzed two levels. first featured stable personality traits. They were identified using standard questionnaires, namely Standard Personality Traits Questionnaire modified by E. G. Ksenofontov C. Izard’s Differential Emotions Scale adapted A. V. Leonov M. S. Kapitsa. second situational personal traits manifested in particular situations as general state comfort or discomfort. authors developed questionnaire included six types situations, each which had three options. option presupposed passive (external) position, i.e., waiting for help from others. described an active (internal) position. third intermediate (50/50). Each required assessment comfort. At subjective-personal traits, determined readiness action overcoming difficulties, often associated with negative experiences. lower transformation triggered stronger emotions. behavior demonstrated similar trend: over situation greater However, not linear. discomfort increased following rise level.
